I was surprised and pleased to discover that this was a geniune Lexmark product. My printer software recognized this cartridge as authentic and I did not receive any annoying messages as is the case with some discount priced Lexmark "Compatible" cartridges.

Cartridge arrived, with two problems wouldn't print red, and package was labeled #43, not #43xl. I contacted the supplier and they advised me on how to get the red working (cartridge was in sealed bag, but had apparently dried out), and they told me #43 and #43xl were equivalent (#41 is the lower capacity version). I am satisfied, and it was a good price.

I have tried comparable ink none work right and the 7675 printer rejects all but Lexmark ink. Only Lexmark from now on threw the rest away

Being that it is the Original Equipment Manufacturers cartridge I expect nothing but the best flawless performance. I know from expierence that LEXMARK stands behind there products and has the best customer support. They also have the most pages per cost of ink.
