Anyway, it is good to know that you may refill this cartridge (for 1/2 the price, might I add) up to at least 3x. Overall I have no problem with the cartridge, nor the price. And for all that, I am grateful AMAZON. keep makin' us proud!! Lexmark, on the other hand, hmmmm... we'll leave that up to the imaginus...

Purchased this cartridge because it could be filled with refill ink and reused. When the cartridge was 2/3 empty my printer rejected the cartridge. I tried adding ink but the printer still will not accept the cartridge. Too much time has passed and I cannot return the items.Best Deals for Lexmark No 14A Black Print Cartridge
I earlier put in a review of a low score because I ordered a 14A cartridge but received a 14 cartridge by mistake. I was informed that it was a clerical error and was reimbursed for the difference in price. I thank them for their service and time. Overall good service.Honest reviews on Lexmark No 14A Black Print Cartridge
I bought this model over the 14 because it was refillable. After a few months, my printer kept reporting that the cartridge was empty even though it still printed dark ink without fading or streaks. I paid to have it refilled anyway, because I was tired to acknowledging the dire warnings from the Lexmark printer software, and it still shows empty after a brand new fill.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Lexmark No 14A Black Print Cartridge
This is not the bleeding edge of technology, it's just a cartridge with black ink in it. It cost about 2/3rds of the price of my printer, which I still find amusing. What I don't find amusing is paying $23 for black ink that won't last 1000 pages, for a printer that costs $35, razor blade economics be damned. I understand the need to charge a premium for PREMIUM inks, but plain black ink? Seriously? What is my motivation to not giving away the printer and buying a fresh one for $35?
