I contacted the seller, asking for my money back. First, I got the runaround, addressing only the software issue. When I responded and explained that the cartridges did not function at all, the seller did not respond.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE CARTRIDGES.
**UPDATE** Shockingly, within minutes of posting this review, I received an email from the seller, offering a refund if I would remove my negative feedback. It appears that they are only willing to make good on their product if I'm willing to help them bilk other customers.

This is the 2nd time I've ordered this ink. It is priced well and works pretty well. It seems that the ink tends to dry out quite a bit because I have to "clean" the cartridges on the Epson maintenance tab often or it prints splotchy. The dry climate I live in could contribute to that, however. The cartridges are also a bit hard to remove but I figured out you have to really a-q-u-e-e-z-e the tab way down low. If you do that it comes out fine. I read a lot of the reviews on this before purchasing and a lot of people had problems. I felt I was taking a gamble but at this price, even if 50% of the cartridges did not work and even if I could not get a refund, I figured I'd come out ahead when looking at OEM and competition remanufactured prices. I am happy to say that I have so far installed and am using 3 cartridges in my Epson Stylus NX415 printer and each one installed easily, was recognized instantly by the printer and is working flawlessly. The only (minor) downside is the reds are not quite as bright as the OEM ink, but at this price and for the purposes I use the printer, that is not a concern, and it is only really noticeable if I compare the output side by side. If the remaining cartridges, or even 50% of them, work as well, then I will be more than happy. Just the savings on the 3 so far has covered the entire cost for all 20 cartridges, so it's really a win win deal for me. The cartridges are not compatible with Epson printers when they are not purchased in North America because there is an internal Zone Code that prevents their use . The supplier should post a warning in the description of his product advising that, unless the printer is properly Zone Coded for North America, the product will not work and then avoid any misunderstanding. Have researched about this problem in several forums and apparently there is a way with the proper software, to reset the Internal Zone Code of the printer and use the cartridges. The product is not to par.a) I had to change the toners 2ce before one of them would even work.
b) The moment I replace one (black) and I had to clean the printer (as directed), the ink is completely finished and I have to replace the other ink (yellow) and then the (cyan) and the (magenta). It made me replace ALL (4) inks before each one of them would work.
c) By the time I could even use one of the toners, I have had to replace (6) cartridges.
I am still waiting on the company to get back to me on what to do with these cartridges.
