I bought this product expecting to get 6 ink cartridges. Lo and behold, I only get 5. There was no gray ink cartridge included, and I had to go buy it separately. I had my doubts about buying these in the first place, but with some decent reviews, I thought I'd give it a try. Not the wisest choice.

I have bought these cartridges three of four times and from a product performance standpoint they are excellent. They come with plastic packaging which is attached to the cartridges housing. The packaging, which is some kind of hard plastic cover or gaurd, comes in two varieties (that I've seen) and I've gotten them both in the same delivery. They are always orange and one twists off and one flexes and pulls away. In both cases the removal is intuitive i.e. the pull away one looks like it pulls away and the twist off one looks like it twists off.

There is also a plastic adhesive film with a pull away tab that needs to be removed and a little flexible button on the top that needs to be depressed. If you don't do both the cartridge won't work. And don't push the button too many times or you will have colorful fingers. All that said, these cartridges work great and given how expensive the offical Canon cartridges are you are getting a great deal. I have never had any broken product or any cartridges that did not work.

I do have to say that I have had some issues getting all of my order delivered but when I called they were very responsive and I got the rest of my order very quickly. I ranked this product a 5 because the product performs excellent and is inexpensive. For all you all of you review critics out there remember this is a product review not a seller review so I'm not going to decrease the rating because the seller made some errors. That goes in the seller review.

I was hesistant on purchasing this ink for as cheaply as priced because I suspected that the quality would reflect the price. So, I bought just one pack of all six because I'm not gonna stock up on ink that turns out to be crap. However, I have been printing with these cartridges almost every day since loading the printer (both color and b&w) because I am a photography hobbiest and I also require color prints for presentations at work. I'm not sure as to why some folks are having difficulty with quality or whatnot, but I personally cannot tell a difference, even the slightest, between the results of these cartridges and the Canon brand cartridges. To me, they seem to burn through ink at about the same rate as the Canon brand. So, no real difference there, either. Given that's the case, I'm more than comfortable with purchasing my ink replacements through Sophia Global. However, if something does come up that reflects these cartridges are substandard, I'll definitely update this review and slam Sophia Global. Considering other people's reviews that reflect problems, though, I'd play it safe and buy just one order just to make sure. After a few hundred print-outs, though, everything looks as it should.
