This review goes for the Black as well as the Tri-color refill of this same brand/cartridge model. This product is super simple to use and it does fill your cartridge up for a fraction of the price you'd pay for an original HP ink cartridge. The black ink package comes with 2, 20ml containers (color cartridges are lower quantity per container, but there are 3 different colors so...). I don't care how HP wants to pitch their ink, that's a lot more ink at less than half the cost.
The down side is that your HP printer does not give you credit for the work you've done. It still thinks the cartridge is low. I think that HP must have changed the programing of their printer software since the lawsuit regarding their ink level reporting. Before, if my ink level got all the way to the bottom, the printer would discontinue using that cartridge and refuse to print even if I refilled it. Now, that seems to be fixed. I ran my black cartridge completely dry this time, refilled, put masking tape over the fill hole (explained later), and I was good to go. But I do still have to deal with my HP All-in-one F4480 reporting EVERY time I boot up that my cartridge is supposedly empty or low. I have not figured out a way to reset the levels.
Since doing my first few refills, I've figured out something that may or may not make a difference. It seems to help for me. After following the instructions to fill and prime the cartridge, I place a piece of masking tape over the refill hole, creating an air seal like it was from the HP factory. This seems to enhance the performance/reliability of the cartridge.
One aspect that I'm not pleased with is that the ink refills do get used up quickly. Perhaps this refill only fills the sponge and not the reservoir? Either way, it requires charging it back up more often.
Lastly, the ink is not as smudge-proof as HP inks. You'll need to give it some dry time (not much). But also, if you write on it with markers / hi-lighters, the ink smears easily.
All in all, based on my experience with this system, I don't believe that these inks are of the same quality as original HP inks. If you wanted to do high quality printing (hi res pictures), I think you should just bite the bullet and get the real thing. This product is an EXCELLENT money saver for everyday, casual printing. As it is, this can be a little bit of a high maintenance process that does work, but you have to refill regularly. I give this product a "Good" rating (UP from 3 stars to 4 stars). It depends on how involved you want to be. But I can say that I've now reordered the same product since my original purchase and I am very happy with this product now that HP seems to have eased off on its cartridge control.

I used this for my HP F-4440 all in one pritner. Shipping was quick from OCProducts, i recieved the kit in 4 days from ordering. I followed the youtube video with id: vkY8jakyRTY (just search for that word on youtube). It takes only a few minutes to refill your cartridge. The last intruction tells you to remove 0.5ml of ink but does not say what to do with it, i simply injected it back into the cartridge. I did not have to run printhead cleaning process since the catridge was not idle for more than a few days. You get 2 bottles of 20 ml and since a hp60 capacity is 4ml, you can refill 10 times "in theory" but practially it's about 8 times because you waste a couple of drops during refill. still it's a $120 ($15 x 8) value, over $100 of savings. The kit comes with everything needed for refilling: stand, injector, needle and even a plastic hand-glove. All you need to know is how to remove/refit the catridge itself from the printer (which takes 10 seconds).
Print/ink quality is same as my original HP cartridge. whether it prints same # of pages as original is yet to be seen, will update teh review when i have that info.
Overall very satisfied with the purchase: saves trips to walmart, avoids the rip-off by HP and helps me minimize my carbon footprint by reusing.
Best Deals for InkTec Refill Kit for HP 60 and 60XL Ink Cartridges-Black
I used a cheap laser printer (Brother). But financially it is much cheaper to use a cheap inkjet printer and this refill ink, though printing quality is somewhat worse than a laser printer.
In addition, I had no problem with installing this refill ink and couldnt tell quality difference between a new ink and a refill ink.
Honest reviews on InkTec Refill Kit for HP 60 and 60XL Ink Cartridges-Black
I bought the black InkTec refill and the color InkTec refill on amazon. The only thing I did not like was that they were sold by different companies so one I got 2 day shipping with amazon prime and the other I did not, but not a big deal.I bought the 60xl black and 60xl color (the xl's are supposed to give twice the amount of ink and prints as the regular 60s) the other day from a store in my local area and both of them together cost me $125 (almost the cost of the printer). I vowed never to do that again. After printing about 35 pages (front and back of the page)with about 35 to 40 percent full color coverage each page and the rest just regular black text the color ink told me i needed ink and the level showed less than 20 percent remaining on the color. The black still had about 70 percent remaining, but I thought that this was ridiculous how little color you can print with these expensive inks so I looked online for refills and found a lot of them and decided to go with the InkTec ones.
When I got them, I followed the directions in print and did the process at the same time as watching the refill video for this product on YouTube. The process was very simple and you don't need any tools other than the ones they send you in the box. It was not messy at all, I did not even need to use the gloves they sent.
After refilling both inks, I placed them back in the printer and the printer would not recognize the cartridges and told me there were no cartridges installed. I thought that this was going to turn out to be a disaster because I remembered reading the reviews before buying and someone else had the same problem. I turned the printer off and back on and the inks were instantly recognized. Next, I did the cartridge cleaning process like they recommended and I also aligned the cartridges with the hp software. After this they were printing fine and I could not see any difference between these and the regular hp inks.
The only thing is that on the refilled inks your pc will not be able to give you the level of the inks anymore, it will tell you that it cant read the ink level, I knew this before buying and its really not a big deal. Once you refill the inks before the sponge inside dries out I think you will be fine.
I will never pay for regular inks again, this way I am paying about $2 for a full refill of both inks whereas with the original hp inks I am paying $125. I wish more people would try this and not submit to the scare tactics employed by these big printer companies to try and stop you from refilling inks so that they can charge you an arm and a leg for them. That's where they are really making the money, not from the printers, it's from the inks. Keep your old cartridges, refill them before they run out and when you go into the store and they say oh do you want to drop your old cartridges in the recycling box over there, don't do it, they know if you don't have the cartridge then you can't refill it. That's why I kept all my cartridges when they asked me. You won't void your warranty (I researched it and it's illegal for them to void your warranty for using refilled inks) and you won't see any noticeable difference in the quality.
