It's been about a year and I am back in school so this thing has paid for it's self a lot. I have sent this company's info/ product link to a bunch of friends but I'm not sure if they are still up and running. 100% PERFECT FOR THIS ONE THOUGH!!!UPDATE 7/17/11: Over a year and a half later and tons of printing for school including copying text book pics to white out the label to create bone and muscle and vascular memorization tools, I have just purchased 16oz of black ink on Amazon for $10 (same for all other colors too). I love this thing. The 16oz should last 3-4 years plus.
I wanted to buy a new printer with a duplexer since they are so cheap these days, but I'm waiting until these guys make the CISS for it. No way am I going back to spending $45 a month on ink; it's B.S.
I just checked to see if this company is still open and they are, and so I went to look at other reviews of this. The thing R. Dower doesn't get in regards to his review, Epson has a built in reader that does NOT run on level of ink but rather number of copies, (times the dot is made). Some CIS systems or refillable cartridges require another device that resents the memory but this one just needs to be lifted up and put back down to reset the printers memory denoting a new cartridge was put in, which is WAY better. Google or youtube it and you will see what a scam Epson ink is; you can break the Epson cartridges open and they will be half full still. They say it's to prevent damage to your printer with low ink levels, but that sounds like a scam to me. I went through a black cartridge a month and got pissed after the third month and started researching it and came across CISS/CIS. I do wish you could buy bulk ink at a office store but Amazon works. Oh keep your old cartridges that are still unused or partially used when you install this. When I ran out of black ink, which I never checked. I put them back in and I am just waiting for my 16oz of ink to show up. I used a piece of scotch tape to seal the cartridges from leaking, and put them upside down in the storage closet. Worked fine even after I ran out of ink, which makes me wonder what Epson's claim is about running low a damage; more B.S. I guess

When I first got this all hooked up I was happy with the results. Darn near destroyed my printer in the process though! The thing would grind something awful if it wasn't lined up precisely. It'll take you about an hour to get it installed right. But later when I went to use it again, I noticed the color was all mis-aligned. And it seems that no amount of head cleaning and print head alignment will fix it. There are some nozzles that just seem to be permanently jammed. Maybe it's my printer, but I'm betting it's this kit.
For printing large amounts of black and white copies it works great. You can printer color too, but just don't expect to print out anything of good quality. I've seen some cheap color laser printers out there for $200. If you've got the budget for it, try to spring for one. But if quality isn't that big a concern there's a LOT more value in this product vs. spending $60 worth of carts that are nearly empty again when you find the jet nozzles are clogged and waste all your ink trying to clean them.
Good luck!
