For those of you have lost the instruction and can't get the answer from the seller: I found out on someone's blog: that the lower holes further away from the blue sticker (clear in my case) are the venting holes.

I ordered this product several months ago but just got around to using it. I thought you would just take the sticker off and pop it in. Nope. I lost the instructions in the mist of a move. So I wrote the company to find out why it wasn't working....

They replied: "please remove the air venting plugs as the instruction says"

I reply "Thank you. Can you describe what the air venting plugs look like? There are the color plugs and the clear plugs. Also, can you send me a copy of the instructions?"

Their reply: 'We have included the instruction in the envelope. Sorry we don't have an electronic copy. Please find the envelope. When you pull the cartridges out, the folded instruction should come out first."

It works now. Hopefully the refill won't be as bad as people are saying.

of oem ink, i was forced to risk this modest purchase... just do two cleaning cycles after

install and your in business! i will be buying these again.
