Installed perfectly thanks to the other highly rated reviewer on this product, as Epson's instructions on the printer, the packaging and the printer software were woefully inadequate. Works fine. It's smallish like the original, so I don't expect it to last long.
One tip: If your printer quits because of low ink, disable the Status Monitor. It cheerfully will print until it's out of ink that way.

I bought an Epson Xp800 all in one to upgrade from a RX680. I use it only to print DVD's.It prints great but I've only printed 20 dvd's and it is already saying it is low on ink.
At $70 for a set of standard carts that works out to $3 a DVD. Shame on you Epson for fleecing
you customers like this. I used to get over 150 DVD's printed with my RX680 and the quality was close.
I think I'm going back to it. $300 for this printer, what a rip off. It also takes more steps to print a DVD
than the RX680...some upgrade.
Ok here is the update:
Epson did contact me and said that extra ink is used the first time you fire this printer up.
I have had half a dozen Epsons through the years and none of the others ever used this amount of ink
on the original set. Epson also said I may have gotten a bad set of inks and they wanted to make things right.
They sent me a whole set of extra capacity inks for this printer on them. I have to say their customer service
has gotten much better than in the past. Will have to see if the inks will last longer with this set.
No complaint with their customer service. Thanks Epson.

I recently started using an Epson Expression Premium Photo XP-800 Small-in-One Wireless Color Inkjet Printer, Copier, Fax, and Scanner with auto 2 sided scanning, copying, and printing. Prints from Tablet/Smartphone. AirPrint Compatible (C11CC45201)There is a small tab at the end of each cartridge which is suppose to seat in a groove on the printer. If you insert the cartridge incorrectly (and there are NOT clear instructions for how to do it correctly to avoid breaking the cartridge), then the tab will break off. As a result, the cartridge will not seat properly in the printer and therefore, the color that is broken will not flow. So, for example, in my case -I accidentally broke the tab off the CYAN cartridge... as a result, CYAN would not print to paper at all.
If you have one of the printers that use this type of cartridge, make sure you insert the cartridge as follows:
1. insert the tab that is at the TOP END of the cartridge (the end opposite where the gold contacts sit) into the groove in the printer
2. once the tab is safely in the grove, press down firmly but gently on the other end to properly seat the cartridge
Also, when you go to remove the cartridge, you need to push down on the blue tab on the printer to release the cartridge. Again, this was not obvious and even after reading the manual (something I seldom do!), there was no mention made needing to do this to get the printer to release the cartridge.
While I think that Epson printers are, in general, very well designed -this is a major flaw and anyone who has one (or is going to acquire one) should be made aware of this "weak link" in the design and functionality of the printer.

Honest reviews on Epson T273520 Epson Claria Premium 273 Standard-capacity Color
Every time I replace a cartridge in my XP-800 printer, it requires 2 to 3 Head Cleanings before it even prints out of that new cartridge. By the time the cleanings are done, it's already indicating lower ink levels on the cartridges I JUST INSTALLED. I use this printer every day, so there really isn't any long idle periods. Also, when I first replaced the Black cartridge(non-photo), I realized the one that come with my printer was faulty. When I did Nozzle Checks, the black pattern would only show on either "MB02CB" or QP100C41" on the printout, but not both. It explains why the black printing was so light in color. The other black replacements didn't do this.
All in all, I've had bad luck with these cartridges, and I've only been using this printer and these cartridges for two weeks.
Other than that, they print beautifully whenever they work.
