This product was delivered in a neatly packed box as expected. I was having problem at first to install the line feed and could not made it work. After a while, I was able to install the Bulk Continuous System onto the printer. However, the printer did not recognize the new pint ink. I called the company and was told to send the problem via email to a help desk. I got response back in the same afternoon and was told to make sure I snapped each of the ink cartridge into the slot. I went home and did just that. It worked. The customer response was excellent and the product works as expected.Best Deals for Continuous Ink System (CIS) for: Epson Artisan 710 All-in-One
I didn't get to use this thing yet because it is not possible to install it without damaging the lines or cutting into the printer. I bought a 810 printer and this system together. The instructions are nice and detailed for everything except the "trouble area" with this product, which is installation. The photos provided are very poor quality, and the write up basically advises you to run the ink lines under the printer lid and press it shut as much as possible. Following these instructions does one of 2 things require you to put something heavy on top of the printer cover to press it down hard enough for the printer to think it's fully closed damaging the ink lines so that they will likely either rupture after a short while or kink and clog up preventing ink flow in the process or the printer will not think it's closed and will refuse to do anything until you slam the cover shut resulting in (see above). I had to put my mid-size paper shredder (almost full) on top of the 810 to get it through the 5-min "initialization"... Yes, it looked every bit as crazy as it sounds. after initialization I opened the lid up to see what became of the ink lines. They were visibly kinked and distorted after only a few minutes of this abuse.I realize this is an "aftermarket" non-oem product, but this is an obvious lack of effort on the part of the designer. If the printer needs to be modified (cut) there should have been tools and/or replacement non-oem parts that would allow proper installation and use and instructions included. There are several opportunities for a simple and functional installation on the 810 printer and any extra installation "kit" wouldn't cost more than 1-2 $ in volume, but apparently that was too much to ask. this seems like a great idea allowing to work around the oem ink extortion scheme (albeit at a fairly steep price considering the actual cost of what you get, but that's a different story), but I wish they spent more than 15 minutes designing it to be usable (in this case installable). If anyone has any installation success stories to share I am all ears. I see several options, but haven't decided on which one I like best yet and they all require mutilation of my brand new shiny black printer. disappointing
