So ink is obviously the most costly thing w/ at home printing. These do the job. These are a fraction the cost of their Canon counterparts. I can't see much of a difference in the quality of the print. If there is a difference it's probably subtle at best.

Pros: Fits good in the holder, adequate quality, great price.

Cons:

-It often does leak a drip or two when you remove the nozzle cover (or whatever it is). So I always open these over paper towel in a place I don't mind getting messy. I think it helps to remove the tape tab that I think covers a ?pressure equalizing slot. I haven't had any leaking once in the printer.

-Not considered genuine Canon product so some of the Canon photo editing software won't work w/ generic ink cartridges installed. In other words, Canon is gonna take it's ball and go home if you don't play the way they like.

In summary, yeah the quality isn't as good as the Canon ones, but I'm not going to pay significantly higher costs for little, if any, benefit.

Tried these because of the price, and they work just fine. I do a lot of printing, so the cartridges don't get a chance to age. But for my purposes these work fine.

Best deal ever! Have plenty of ink without the pocketbook hurting and they work wonderfully. Even my sister can install them.
