This Xerox 106R01274 compatible cartridge was very cheap compared to the Xerox brand or other similiar cartridges. I thought the price was awesome, so decided to try this cartridge. I put it in the machine and 2 days later I got a black cartridge error. Took it out, reinserted it, messages still showing. Took the cartridge out, cleaned the machine and reinserted. Worked just fine for about 2 more days and then same thing happened. Now about ever 20 pages I have to take out the cartridge, shake it, turn off the printer, reinsert the cartridge and then it works again. This is very annoying when you print reports all day long. I've now ordered my normal higher prices cartridge so I can replace this one with something that I know will work. If I didn't do such high volume printing the cost would be worth the inconvience, but the cost savings does not outweigh the benefit in my situation.
