I was hesitant on purchasing this because it's so inexpensive. But the part of me that dies a little when I buy outrageous ink won the "try it anyhow" battle and I'm glad it did. I have an HP Photosmart B290A (and it says -m in the controls on my computer) and this ink works! I didn't even tell my husband (a computer technician of course) I bought it because I was afraid it wouldn't work at all and I'd be eating his "I told you so's" for a while. Much to my surprise and pleasure it all works.
Like the other person, I did have a big of a magenta issue with no warning, but my carpet remained unstained. Also, I was expecting a box like the picture shows, orderly and organized, but what I got was a rather mangled post office envelope. All of the ink was double bagged so nothing was missing, but there was a little bit of digging through to find the colors needed. Those reasons are the four stars. The ink itself is a great value all the way.
I'll definitely buy this again when the time comes! I do quite a bit of personal printing so this deal is a bank saver!

This product does not work when i put it into my HP C309A printer. The printer does not recognize them. The cartidges do not have the metallic strip that is on the back of most cartidges, that provides the printer with authentication.

I purchased the 15 pack for my HP Photosmart c309a. Only half of the cartidges are recognized by my printer as being installed. I especially have problems with photo black and black. I would not recommend buying this product.
Honest reviews on 15pk HP 564 XL Ink Cartridge With Chip For PhotoSmart C6340 C6350
Hi to everyone in hp land. My review of these ink jet cartridges is based upon my experience with using them. I purchased this bundle deal as a backup ink set. I am a event photographer. It is important that the ink work. I received my 15 cartridges in a envelope. Some appeared as advertised, others where actually remanufactured hp cartridges. The original hp cartridges, which came in the bundle, they did not work which were the magenta and the cyan and one black cartridge. I assumed I needed to clean my print heads, yet, they still didn't work. After noticing the trend, I did not attempt to use the other black and photo black original hp cartridges, because time was of the essence in completing a project.
I understood at the discount price there may be a sacrifice in my investment. But that doesn't negate the fact that bad cartridges could easily be sold to customers. A Cartridge World employee once told me, whom was very knowledgable of defective cartridge units, sometimes the sponge inside of a cartridge will dry-out, thus, after you have filled the cartridge it can not saturate the sponge adequately once the sponge inside the cartridge has dried. It is virtually imposible to detect a bad sponge in an hp cartridge, because the cartridge is not transparent. Therefore, the cartridge may be full, but unusable. This may very well be the case with a vast majority with the original remanufactured hp cartridges that are giving customers a fit.
I previously bought a similar set of 12 cartridges from E-Z ink assuming this company was selling the same thing for a lower price according to the picture in the advertisement. The E-Z ink bundle worked and performed beautifully for my hp d7560. However, my experience with this bundle stopped with 5 cartridges(2cyan, 2magenta, and 1 black cartridge). They simply did not work. I performed one print test after print test.
Like many of you, perhaps you didn't discover the bad cartridges you received until weeks or months down the road assuming they will work when needed. Ordering ink cartridges online has taught me a big lesson, to be accountable for the investment I make. No I did not contact the seller, because I understood my time for receiving a refund, or exchage had expired.
Please anyone else giving a review on this product, give a honest and thorough review. Stating that your ink cartridges doesn't work doesn't highlight any details needed for the next customer to make a sound decision seeing that they are already captivated by the price such as I was.
In conclusion, any future purchases from this seller will be thoroughly check for workmanship. For those wondering about my experience with the 12 ink bundle i purchased from E-Z ink, I printed 40-55 5x7 full color prints and two 8x10's or more without changing neither xl ink cartridge. The colors where consistent with the original hp cartridges that you buy in the store.
I have no desire to mark a company, or anyone in business as being a bad seller. However, this was my personal experience with the original remanufactured ink jet cartridges I received for my HP D7560 from this seller.

I see there are many people who say the ink doesn't work with their printer. Here's the thing, you need to install the driver and software for your HP printer on your computer to get these to work a lot of the time. HP simply doesn't want you to use these, and doesn't want you to save money. So after you install your cartridge go to you hp printer software or through the options on your touch screen and make sure to hit "print anyways" or whatever comes up.
I did have one cartridge not work at all, but I've gone through two sets of these in the last 14 months and that was the only hiccup. So yes it does take a little more effort to use this ink, but it's work save the hundreds of dollars you'd have to spend on the HP branded ink. It;s also worth it in my opinion to do this instead of filling you own cartridges as well, as that often gets messy as that's what I used to do.
The color on this ink is the same as the hp ink, just as vibrant a life-like. A real value here, it's too bad more people aren't able to get it working with their printer. So if you're unsure whether to buy this because of the reviews, I'd say go ahead and give it a shot, as I've never used a printer either at home or at work that didn't have a bypass option.
