I had to play with it and turn the printer on and off a couple of times before the printer would recognize the cartridge.
Bought 2 black cartridges and the same thing happened with both.

Received my first order really fast but didn't need it for several months. When I tried to insert the cartridge the msg said incorrect cartridge. After several tries, I contacted the InkPlusToner Company and without even needing to send back the faulty product the new cartridge arrived in 2 days. I inserted it and it printed perfectly.
