I have used this pigment ink in my cannon pixma MX870 several times, Have since bought a total of 6 boxes and used 4 up. I would like larger volume containers of this ink since it is not cheap. May have to try something else but I like to use what works. With my chip re-setter I have had no issues.

This product does not work. When my ink cartridges became empty, I refilled the cartridge and reset the chip on the cartridge per the instructions. After I put back the cartridges into the printer, the printer could not print a test page. The paper jammed the printer each time I sent the document for printing. The printer could not be used any more even with brand new original Cannon cartridges

I had to buy a new printer.

I read another review and thought I'd give this a go. I'd like to think I'm pretty handy. Plus at warehouse stores this stuff is expensive. I didn't even need the gloves they provided, didn't get ink on anything, it was so easy. The only thing to note is you will need to purchase a chip resetter or buy a kit that has one in it. I found that one box or two of the ink tubes will fill about 4 of the larger size ink cartridges. Unfortunately my printer eats ink but I'm so glad to have found this. I even purchased this in color, haven't tried it yet so can't comment on how the color looks. I would suggest giving this a try, it'll save you lot of moola.

I have been using Intec refills for three years plus, starting with an old Canon MX830, then when that died after two years and was replaced under an extended warranty I used them for my MX850 (with the addition of a chip resetter). That two year old MX850 died last weekend I will continue to use them for my new (also replaced under warranty!) MX870! I do a LOT of printing, using the duplexer for countless hundred page+ brochure/booklet samples and I kill printers and this ink has saved me hundreds of dollars.

The ink and refill system is reasonably easy to use (the first time was a messy learning experience!) but once you get used to it goes like clockwork. I have never had any problem with refilling, the inks themselves, colors, clogging or anything. Great stuff!
