I purchased this item on 3/28/2012 and upon receipt of it, I noticed that it's not only isn't a genuine HP cartridge, but has an exp date of 6/20/2011. i don't recommend this product to anyone else

I purchased these ink cartridges, put them into my printer and when I tried to print, it would not let me. I figured it was probably the cartridges so I bought HP ones and put them in. Now my printer does not work at all. Do not buy these. They are a waste of money and they will break your printer.

This inkjet cartridge works every bit as well as the name brand. Seems to last equally as long also. Happy.
