title says it all. bought two sets and my Brother MFC-0490CW will not recognize the cartridges when inserted, so will not print.

These inks performed completely erratically for me. They would so a couple things well, then be faded and streaky for no apparent reason. They would run the ink in the line out and I'd have to clean the ink heads 5 times to get the ink back through... and sometimes they would just be streaky. once I hd to clean the machine 7 times to get the ink flowing correctly again. do not believe the picture (which shows G&G boxes... which have never caused me problems). Cartridges fit snugly and ink does not clot. You can't beat the price. Cartridges for the 6490cw are quiet expensive and these will do a simple job with no problem. I don't print more than 10 pages a month so it lasts me very long. and the fact that its got 2 SETS of 4 colors is a steal!
