Jan. 2012. In many respects these Dell NextLife print cartridges -both the HP 98 Black and the HP 95 Color that I use -are good values. They are very reasonable and give good print quality and don't leak. However, I have now had problems with the cartridges in the past six months which I caution you about. After several weeks of use, maybe six to eight weeks, my HP Printer (HP Officejet 6310 All in One) starts showing various error messages concerning the cartridges, even if I have used relatively little ink over the period, indicating in various ways that the cartridge is empty, when in fact there is no actual problem with the print quality, either black or color. I can remove the cartridge and put it back in, and perhaps the error message will change, and I'll have excellent print for a few more days, but eventually I get the message that "Printer cartridge on left (or right) must be replaced." Once I get this message, the printer refuses to use the cartridge.

With standard, expensive, HP Cartridges, you may of course get "Low ink" messages, but I was always able to use the cartridge until the printed pages started fading or otherwise revealed that I was actually out of that ink. But not with these Dell NextLife HP 95 and HP 98 Cartridges: the printer at some point simply refuses to use them, irrespective of how much ink they have left.
