This product seemed like a great deal and I thought it was. Until it ruined my printer. The ink does not flow evenly and it clogs the printer heads causing severe damage. I ended up throwing away my printer. The replacement heads cost over $70. each hence it went in the trash after having it inspected by someone who deals with cleaning printers daily and finding out that my assessment was correct, the heads needed replacement. This ink also clogs the tubing throughout. Buyer beware if it seems too good to be true it is. I was very slow leaving this review as the damage happened many many months ago but my wife said I should let people know how poor the product is.

They sent 2 of each ink cartridge. When I put it in the printer displayed a message that non-oem ink could damage the printhead in the printer, and would void my warranty. The printer has been out of warranty for a while so I installed it anyway. The first black ink cartridge only lasted for the first run of printing. When I tried to print something a few days later it said it needed to be replaced. I wasn't expecting much since the ink is so cheap, so I just installed another one. That worked for another run of printing. When I came back, again a few days later, the printer gave me a message that the printhead was damaged. I tried replacing it with a new one, the new one was toast within a few days as well.

After using these cartridges for a few months now, I finally feel comfortable leaving a review. I purchased these for a printer that I got for free from a friend so I can't speak for how they compare against the HP brand of cartridges (which I haven't tried). The first few times I used these cartridges I was afraid I made a mistake: the colors came out somewhat grainy/streaky and not saturated. I was printing in normal mode, but it looked as if I was printing in draft mode. I changed the quality from "normal" to "best" and the problem was solved. My husband says he has been printing in normal mode without any problems, but I have been using "best" for my own stuff. I am not a heavy printer, but I have been using the printer somewhat regularly over the last few months and overall the ink has been worth the money (or rather, worth not paying the big bucks for HP brand). Sometimes the colors look a little off to me, but prior to using this printer starting a few months ago, it had been so long since I had printed in color so it may just be me. For everyday printing purposes I highly recommend this ink.

These are good alternatives to more expensive HP branded ink cartridges but keep in mind they do not last as long and you will find yourself spending about the same money in replacements since you have to do it twice as much. If you do not print a lot then these are worth it.

I had purchased the 8 Pack Non-OEM Compatible Ink for HP Officejet Pro L7650 early in December. When the product arrived, it was the wrong cartridge for our printer. After contacting the seller, they advised this type of cartridge WAS compatible, however, by looking at the cartridge we could not use the ink since the previous cartridges were flat on the bottom. The ones received had 'protruding plugs' on the bottom that I felt may damage the printer if we tried to insert the cartridge. I returned the ink early December and today, I received genuine HP 88XL black and colors that will work. Sophia Global is a very understanding company and would order again.
