The ad indicated that the two grey cartridges should work with PIXMA 980 printers. I ordered a two pack, neither cartridge was recognized by my printer. I've purchased non-OEM ink from other suppliers and have not had a problem before now. I am sad and have no grey ink. Don't let this happen to you :(. Just requested a refund.

The ink cartridges definitely work with my Canon MX 990 printer (chips make contact with printer head), but the printouts look fairly washed out and lack a vibrancy that most inkjet color printer branded replacement cartridges give.
