I now have three sets of these cartridges, and only the black cartridge in one set has ever had a problem being recognized by the printer. In that case, I just pressed the cartridge replace button and took the cartridge out, then unplugged the printer for 30 minutes, then put the cartridge back in and plugged in the printer, and all turned out well.

The cartridges are easy to fill which makes this product something that I would re-order again if needed. I would not hesitate to recommend this product for others.
