After trying to find affordable ink cartridges for my aging HP722C work horse printer, I tried these re-manufactured ones from LD. Placed order with normal shipping and three days later the USPS priority package from Long Beach CA arrived! I am working on the fist cartridge now and it seems to work fine, even in draft mode which I use almost always. Not sure of the life but will update this comment when it runs dry.

For others, be sure to store the spare new cartridges vertically and do not lay flat. I learned the hard way that laying flat for several months will shorten life or it may not work at all.

I ordered these cartridges, first because they were backed by Amazon, and second because it was claimed (from the product information: "the HP 51645 was filled with the same ink formulation"). This I do not believe!

I use a wide tracker printer to print pages for my stamp collection. I have 28 volumes (or over 3000 pages) that have been printed on 100% HP ink in the past. I purchased these cartridges to use instead (on my expensive $0.65/sheet paper) and proceeded to print about 50 pages. To my amazement after one week I can virtually erase the lines from the ink with a simple Hi-polmer eraser (white plastic type). Using the same paper printed with HP ink, I can erase any of the 3000 pages and not have the same effect. This indicates to me that your product is not the same formulation nor is it offering "optimum performance and productivity with superior resistance to smudging and bleeding" as claimed. Nor do I feel it is safe for the thousands of dollars I house in these collections.

I gave it three stars because if you are printing something that is disposble (directions or notes) or perhaps receipts or something it would likely work fine. However the lack of binding quality on very high quality acid free paper leads me to avoid it.

Amazon was wonderful like always. When I complained about it they provided me with a return packaging label for UPS.

I will only use 100% HP ink, even if it is 3x the cost.

I was afraid this wouldn't work but it was so much cheaper than new ink I decided to try it. Worked perfectly with no complaints. Glad I bought.

Update: Ran out of ink after 20 30 sheets of paper. If it had lasted, I would say this is a great deal.

Original review: It's about 1/4 the price of an HP cartridge and it works in my HP K80 All In One (ink jet printer/fax). Ink color is good (black).

This ink cartridge is working just fine. The cost was about 1/3, compared to new. I'll do it again when this one runs out.
