The Canon ink cartridges work well and last quite a long time for me. They will print right down to the last drop of ink that is left in the cartridge. The XL's last longer so that is the reason for going with them. This cartridge will probably last me a good three months and I do a lot of printing because I am in college.

I just finished this cartridge. I didn't count the pages I printed, but I definitely did NOT feel like I got too few pages... I used it for a while and I did several larger size printings... I would recommend this!

In general, the MP250 prints very nice picture quality. The yield isn't amazing, but nice quality. They give away the printer to sell ink.
