Who doesn't want to save a buck on printer ink? Answer: Someone who's tried this product.

I took the product out of it's packing, and it leaked all over. Hurried to get it in the printhead, and it saturated the printhead with so much black it has permanently bleed into all of the other colors. Now everything I print is gray-scale. Still that way after several attempts of deep cleans and half a bag of cotton balls and alcohol, and even with Lexmark ink. I wish I could back charge this seller for a new printhead.

I have been using this ink for approximately 1 month and it has worked great without any problems. It states on the container NOT to update your printer for it to work.

I wasted 3 cartridges that didn't work. The printer did not recognize the cartridge. It didn't prompt me to replace the cartridge when it was spitting out blank papers. I will not buy this again.

The variety of compatible cartridges seem to be hit or miss. Many have awful problems with not being recognized by the printer or leaking. So far this one has been working with no issue. Printed off quite a bit of stuff. Looks good. No leaks. I am so relieved to find an option for a reasonable price. With cartridges normally costing $20 each and my printer needing 4 separate ones, I seriously think it makes more sense to buy another printer that comes with the cartridges than get brand name replacements. But for under $6 and free shipping this one is fantastic and I don't feel taken advantage of when replacing it.

The cartridge has all kinds of warnings not to update firmware on the printer when prompted by an available update. States firmware updates are made to prevent compatible cartridges from being used so you have to stick to name brand. I actually removed drivers and reinstalled rejecting the option to search the internet for updates. Stuck with the disk that came with the printer. All works well. If your doesn't, try uninstalling and basically rolling back the firmware updates and try again.

Thank good it was only 5 dollars. That's what happened sometimes when you try to save some money gatting this kind of stuff. It never worked. The ink may was dry or something but it didn't work at all.
