I bought these cartridges for our Epson Stylus C86. We got it for "free" with my wife's Apple Laptop. Epson cartridges cost as much as the printer! These cartridges seem to do the same job at a fraction of the cost.

I, too, was looking for an alternative to pricey, gimmicky manufacturer ink cartridges. I think quality-wise this ink is comparable to the regular stuff. I didn't notice any difference in the few items I've printed since switching to this. However where it falls down is that it tends to dry out and clog quickly. If you don't print something at least once a week you should plan to spend 30 minutes cleaning your print heads before every job.

I was a little hestitant purching remanufactured ink for my epson. The last time I did so, the printer stopped working. But I have gotten really frustrated at the high cost of Epsom brand ink (and how quickly it seems to run out) so, based on the other reviews, I decided to give this ink a try. This ink was a great deal and I haven't had any issues with it so far!
