When your DesignJet isn't printing and it's been a while, check the printheads. If they go ... they go. You can't fix 'em and you can't clean 'em. You can buy a new one ... and presto! You're back up and printing again. These came so fast that there was no need to stock extras ... but you could. They don't dry up or go bad over time. Just make sure that you get printheads and not ink. Also, make sure you get the right color printhead. The printer is picky that way!
