When I installed the cartridge in my printer and the warning light for low ink came on immediately. The supplier required that I recind my negative review before they would replace the cartridges. The replacement cartridges were no better than the original certridges. I ended up returning the cartridges. It was more effort than it was worth dealing with the supplier. They were less than polite every time I had any interaction with them.

The sensors don't seem to work properly, now when compute icon for printer opens, it does not display the ink cartridge level's don't show up.

I've been re-ordering this product for approximately one year. While there are occasional malfunctions with it not working with my printer....these are only when I install a new cartridge and this has only occurred twice in the past year, a relatively small amount considering the quantity of pages I've printed. Because of its overall performance and reliability, I'd say It's a great value; I usually keep an extra one handy since the ink indicator appears as "empty" on these types of products.

As others have noted, these refills work just fine, but they do not show ink levels correctly. They will report as low or empty in Canon printers. Really this is just a minor annoyance given the low cost and full functionality. Fast shipping is an added bonus.
