Here's the bottom line with this product. These two cartridges would run you about $35 + tax in the store. Here, it is more than 50% off that price. Therefore it doesn't have to work quite as well to get your money's worth. I got the item promptly as promised, but when I first used them, the copies were poor. After three or four bad copies, the copies got better. If you set the printer on the highest quality settings, meaning its using more ink for each copy, you will get nice prints. The blacks are a bit faded in areas, but overall a very acceptable picture. Remember, taking into account the HUGE savings on the price, you do quite well with this purchase.

I have ordered these a couple of times. It's a great deal for $8 if they work. They usually worked fine, but this last time the color one was not detected by my printer. I've tried everything with no luck. I guess I could try to return it but I don't wanna go through the hassle. It's a good deal if it works, however I think I'm gonna try a different seller (ebay) next time.

I haven't tried the color cartridge yet, but have used the black one. It works fine, but my printer doesn't recognize it; I always get the message that there is no print cartridge installed. Nevertheless, after closing the error message, I am able to print with it as usual. This minor inconvenience is worth the cost savings.

The ink cartridges arrived extremely promptly. They were well packed. I had never used refurbished ink cartridges before. The casings were new or appeared so. They were well made and as if new. The ink is of superior quality. I've been using computers since the late 1970's and cannot detect any difference between the ink in these OC Inkjet cartridges from that in HP originals. My HP printer sensed that these cartridges were refurbished and my (Compaq/HP) laptop displayed that it would be unable to determine the ink levels in these cartridges. Color and b/w samples printed on stock bond were left in direct sunlight for a few days in hot, California sunshine. There was no fading. The same sheets were left outside on a covered patio table during a rainstorm. Although there was much moisture in around and about and the bond paper was no doubt absorbing some, there was minimal blurring. For the most part, lines stayed sharp. The ink dries quickly out of the printer with no streaking. I highly recommend. I will purchase again. I wish I had purchased a larger set to save even more money, however as stated above, this was my first experience with refurbished cartridges. OC Inkjets has a happy customer.
