I am sorry to say,that after having bought 4 of these, they are all either re-conditioned or counterfeit. The packaging looks real, but the product inside is bogus. Even if it works, which sometimes it does, the quality of the photos printed is poor. Stay away from this Canon does not make them any more I do not know where they get these but they are not legit.

Delivery was prompt. The item does not work. It appears to be re-conditioned. Maybe I missed that in the description, but I was under the impression it was being sold as new. Mea culpa, caveat emptor. Seemed too good to be true.

This is a hard to get part now that Canon has discontinued this item. The price was very competitive; shipping was fast; and the print head made my 7 year old printer work like a new printer. Finding this print head at this price helped me to continue using my printer. Although it's an older printer, it was a very expensive printer that was loaded with options. I would definitely recommend buying this print head, as I'll probably order another one soon.

Got my printer back from the dead, best price I could find anywhere online, got my printer working for less than the price of a cheap new one.

My printer stopped working and I attempted to clean the printhead but it did not work. I tried all the suggested fixes and then decided to order a replacement printhead. The order was processed very quickly and I recieved the new part within a few days.

Best thing is that it is very simple to install and once installed my printer was again working perfectly. The part has given my printer a second life. I love the efficiency of this printer and the price to fix it was in the end a great option for me.
