This black ink is something you'll definitely want to keep on hand. The roller that it goes with is so fun to use you'll find yourself looking for places to use it!! And of course black is a staple that you'll always want to use it with. The ink dries quickly and goes on smoothly. I haven't owned it for very long yet so I can't speak to it's lifespan...but based on the other reviews I am confident it will last me a while!

The black ink for the continuous wheel is a nice color. Sometimes the black isn't really black and this is a great color. The ink has never ran dry. It lasts a long time before it runs out.

Ink pads can dry out easy but I find out with the Fiskars wheel ink it lasts longer. I appreciate this because as a crafter when you are on a project, you don't want to stop. It is the everlasting wheel ink!
