I was a little reluctant about ordering this, based on the other review...but decided to try it anyways. I'm glad I did. It works great in my Epson Workforce 645. No issue with it recognizing the ink level or spotty printing. This is definitely a great value, and I will be purchasing this from this seller again.***Update*** After a month of printing, my WF645 recognized the cartridge as a fake. From what I read online there is a way to disable the Epson Monitor, which apparently is the system that detects "unofficial" cartridges. I have not had the opportunity to pursue this fix. I'm still pleased with the quality of the ink, and as of now it still hasn't detected the color cartridges, just the black.

Prints but with lines across the page, cleaning, alignment, letting it sit overnight, power cycling printer, nothing seems to work. I purchased these for my Epson Workforce 645 printer. I am a graduate student in college and I also work at a University (from home), thus my printer is in constant use. I was constantly buying brand ink and the cost was becoming astronomical.I found this product via a search on Amazon. I was hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but decided to try it. I am so thankful I did! Installing the cartridge was a breeze. It worked right away and I have had no issues with these cartridges.
I have noticed some reviewers discussed quality from brand versus generic. I decided to do a little "quality test" experiment. I printed a page (black text) using brand Epson ink. I then installed the generic ink, printed the same page using generic ink. I labeled Epson ink "A" and generic ink "B" (only I knew the difference). I observed both papers and did not notice any difference whatsoever. They looked exact in quality.
I then grabbed my family members and individually asked each one to look at the two pages and tell me if he/she saw any difference between the two pages. All said there was no difference between the two. I then told them one is printed with brand ink another with generic ink and could he/she determine which page was the brand ink and which was the generic ink. Each family member said there was no difference and they were unable to determine which page had been printed with brand and which had been printed with generic.
Result of my little experiment: You cannot tell the difference in printing quality using Epson ink versus this generic ink. The only difference you will notice is the cost!
Now, I only wish the company distributed packs of just the "black" ink versus needing to purchase all of the colors as I rarely use color, but need a constant supply of black.
