It is not worth the trouble. When you use these ink cartridges your printer will start giving you error messages.

I bought this ink because, to my great frustration, my printer won't print anything at all if one color is low. Since I mostly print black and white, I'm not really sure how true the color is to the HP brand ink, but it works well in my printer and nothing has looked egregiously bad.
