I had a CISS system on an HP printer where the cartridges are stationary and that worked great. I always wondered how well a CISS system would work with carts that move in a print carriage. What I found was: not so well... You have to remove the door and break off the side wall of the carriage and even then the hose bunches up at the end of the track and stops the carriage. After returning this I bought a cartridge system that designed to be refilled. This seems to work really well.

Install was somewhat easy, but you have to basically figure it out for yourself. The install instructions provided did not match my printer so I had to spend time figuring where to mount the ink tubes so they would not get in the way of the carriage. This does require you to snap off pieces of your printer which will basically void your printers warranty. Also, the lid will not fully close after this install and I had to jam a piece of cardboard in the lid switch to fool the printer into thinking the lid was fully closed. Print quality is great and I am pretty happy that I have a huge ink supply now.
