I purchased two Brother LC61BK (black) ink cartridges from Vivamart which I believed to be STANDARD yield cartridges, instead they shipped me STARTER CARTRIDGES!! I spoke with a representative from Brother to confirm yield stats on the cartridges and he said that a standard ink cartridge has a 450 page yield. He said that a starter cartridge is only 1/3 to 1/2 full and therefore, has alot less life in it than a standard cartridge. If you read the Technical Details section for this item you will see that Vivamart posted their product under the item description for a Standard Yield Cartridge (450 pages) and yet never disclosed that this was not the item they were selling. They are deceptively selling a different item and yet will not reveal that in their product description.

Another thing, I have no idea if these cartridges are expired or not, as there was no expiration date stamped anywhere on the item. The item arrived only in shrink wrapped plastic and without a box. The expiration date is typically stamped on the box of a Standard cartridge starter cartridges do not come in boxes.

The item's description is for a standard cartridge. Many third-party sellers are selling a starter cartridge instead however which 1/2 the size of a standard cartridge. Some at least list this in their description (although IMO there should be a fully separate item on Amazon for the starter cartridges), while others don't such as OEM Liquidators from which I purchased this item. Amazon at least was friendly about returning it since it was not the advertised item I ordered.

So, when purchasing this item from a third-party seller, make sure you are getting what you expect.

Ordered several cartridges, and the black was dried up or empty or something, would not work. Ordered two black, the other one worked fine. Supposed to be genuine Brother "Innobella", but did not come in original packaging,you decide. The other three colors worked fine, just the one black was bad. The picture shows original packing but wasn't. Came in a sealed plastic bag.

I've tried submitting this product to Amazon suggesting they edit the details of listing, but to no avail. So here's MY review with the info that needs to be changed.

First off, these are listed a Brother branded ink cartridges. Thing is, they're not. They are "compatible" cartridges which means they are NOT original replacements. BUYER BEWARE.

It even states this in the product description, so read carefully and don't be fooled by the item being listed as an OEM manufactured by Brother.

I am disappointed to report that this ink is very cheap, and dries inside the piping and print-head of the printer it is used in. Thankfully the ink was cheap; unfortunately I am now stuck trying to get my printer work again... which is most likely going to be a futile, and/or expensive ordeal.
