I bought 2 of these because of the big price point, and I saw the bad review but was going to give it a chance. I have an imagerunner 3225 and it works fine in it, so far the print is nice and clean no streaking or anything abnormal. It looks a little different than the canon ones, but I put it in and it has been running now for a couple of weeks I image I've made 2000-3000 copies. It seems other people have had bad luck, I wanted to put this review in so that people know that its not a guaranteed fail, but it might be kind of risky. But for the amount of savings it might be worth it.

We bought 2 of these based on the economics.

After we had it in the copier about two weeks, it started to give us poor quality by producing streaks in the copy. Our Cannon Rep said that it was leaking the toner outside of the normal path,

We will try the other one if this continues to leak. But I will be switching back to the factory supplied cartridges.

I received the cartridge in a timely fashion, but only installed it a week ago. It worked for three days until the Imagerunner 3225 machine gave me a "no toner" warning and stopped printing. I removed and shook the cartridge, since it is obviously still heavy and full of toner, reinserted, and "no toner" remains on. Replaced the cartridge with an OEM cartridge, the warning immediately goes away.

Perhaps the machine, like many others, has a special chip that recognizes non oem cartridges, and shuts printing down. The three days of printing I got was probably from the remaining toner in the machine from original cartridge.
