The cartridges installed just as they should. I have had a small issue with the black occasionally messing up a small area on the page when it prints. I never had this problem on the Lexmark brand ink, so I assume the problem is with the the new cartridge, not with my printer. I have had no problems with the color cartridge, yet. Since these cartridges cost me 1/5 of what the name-brands would, I can live with the minor inconvenience of having to reprint occasionally.
ADDED LATER: After using these cartridges for a few weeks first the black and then the color stopped working. It has something to do with the electronics of the cartridge, because the printer still spits out a page (that it thinks is fully printed), but the page is entirely blank! There is still ink in both cartridges. The ink flows when touched to a paper towel.

The color cartridge worked fine, but the black and white could not pump out any ink. (And yes, I removed the tape). Keeping it for the color cartridge but no not gonna order it again.Best Deals for Compatible Combo Pack Lexmark 82 (18L0032)/83 (18L0042)

Just got the ink and installed it in the printer. Printed a test page and everything works fine. Will need to test it for further reviewDon't use the ink that much but Yellow ink is empty, the original did last a lot longer. Black is not an issue.

I have been using recycled printer cartridges for some time now. I support recycling and reusing whenever possible, and I have had some problems with recycled cartridges before, but nothing too major, unless I count the time I let Walgreen's refill my color cartridge & they basically ruined it. Even though they didn't charge me for the ruined cartridge, it still sucked. There is another local store where I trade in my used cartridges for $5 off newly-refilled recycled cartridges. I've been pretty happy with the savings and the quality, but they cost considerably more than these (about double).
I decided to try these cartridges because they are way more affordable than my local store, even with shipping. They worked great right out of the box, and I can't speak to how long they will last right now, but I'm happy so far!
If they last and stay this affordable, I will be a repeat customer!
