These cartridges work just like the expensive HP ones--they're just refilled, relabeled, and resold by LD Products. I can't think of any reason to pay full price again!
If it stops printing any particular color at all, check your printhead. It's probably not the print cartridge's fault. The 940 printheads are horribly designed and take in air instead of ink sometimes. I researched the issue and found a kit elsewhere that reinjects ink into the printhead.These ink cartridges were amazing, they had a high yield for printing. I was able to print so much more than I expected
