This was my first time trying out re-manufactured ink cartridges. I was optimistic that they would perform the same as new cartridges, however I was disappointed in my results.
I ordered 2 cartridges from Sophia Global. They arrived quickly and were as advertised. I installed one and it worked fine, although my HP printer barked that it was not a legitimate cartridge (I don't remember the exact wording in the message).
I don't print very often, so it was about 2.5 months when the first cartridge failed (Feb 14 Apr24)....after about 10 uses (maybe 20-40 sheets total). I emailed Sophia Global and explained the issue to them. They were very polite and said they would send me a replacement, which they did via regular USPS. They told me to throw out the defective one, which I did. I put in the second cartridge and it worked fine...for about the same amount of time and then I received the same "Cartridge Failed" error on my printer. At this point, I put in the third cartridge and it worked, but then failed almost immediately. I then put the second cartridge back in (sounds like musical chairs?) and it worked again. I am currently using the second cartridge.
I did not report the subsequent failures to Sophia Global. I am sure if I did, they would have politely replaced the cartridges again...but honestly, for 10 bucks, it isn't worth the headache. I will just buy new cartridges from now on.
Having said all of the above...this was my experience with these cartridges using *my* printer, and your results may vary with your printer. I am using an HP Photosmart 8100 series printer and I have a strong suspicion that HP likes to reject cartridges that are not manufactured by HP in order to force their customers to buy HP products.
So at the end of the day...the product didn't work out for me at all but the company was good to deal with and they immediately replaced my defective cartridge when I reported it.

The difference between this product and others is their claim that they test each cartridge before they send it to you. The relatively small amount of additional cost over their untested competitors is well worth it.They come in air tight packages, with protective tape over the contacts and heads, and a clip protecting the cartridge as well. The first unit I tried worked great. As a result, I placed a second order for two more. I have not had a chance to use any of the others, but at least for now this product looks really good.
