This same product is found in many different listings in Amazon, so check out everyone's reviews before you make a decision. I have a small photography business and do a lot of proof printing. I have had an Artisan 710 printer for a couple of years and was getting tired of spending almost half the original cost of the printer each time I needed to change cartridges. I decided the time had come to at least try a CISS.
As for me, I am quite pleased with it. I actually ordered it awhile before it came time to install, so when I got around to it I was beyond the 30-day return period...ALL IN. When I took the unit out of the box, I noticed that the tubing was largely empty of ink. The written instructions included are of little help and the mini CD in the box is of no use if your computer has a slot-loading drive. Fortunately, they have several videos on their web site that cover the various steps to get up and running.
Getting the air out of the tubing is pretty straight forward using the syringe included in the box. I did have trouble with one color that simply wouldn't let loose. Since I was beyond the return period I tried my own solution...force air into the cartridge rather than sucking it out. After a few seconds I finally heard some gurgling in the reservoir unit, then began pulling the plunger on the syringe and got the air out of the tubing and ink into the cartridge.
Once all the tubes were cleared of air, I installed the cartridges in the printer, closed the lid and the printer recognized the cartridges. After the printer finished its initial charging I ran two head cleaning routines and did a nozzle check. All was perfect.
In the couple of weeks (as of this writing) that I have used the system, I am confident that any residual OEM ink has been used up and I'm now using the ink included in this unit. The results? I can't tell any difference from what I was getting with the genuine Epson ink. The colors look the same as before and the detail in the prints I have made is just as good as before. I am looking forward to getting a set of refill inks, and getting the equivalent of six sets of cartridges, for less than half of what a set of OEM cartridges cost.
Besides the lousy documentation, the only downside to this set is the length of tubing that connects the reservoir unit to the cartridges. The reservoir is presumably designed to sit right next to the printer, but the tubing is about 30" long. I don't know if they need to have such long tubing for the ink to flow correctly into the cartridges, but it would be nice if there was some way to shorten them. I know, that's just cosmetic, but it does look rather silly to have all that tubing snaking back and forth.

I had to replace my old Canon printer that died on me as I was using CISS on it and so i researched a bit and decided to get Epson Artisan 730 printer and this CISS.The price is very favorable and offering it on Amazon is a plus because of return policy. When it arrived I installed it directly into a new printer (without using any original ink carts at all) and it didn't work for unknown reason. So I messed with it for several hours and found the PROBLEM tubes where clogged with dried out ink right at the beginning of the tube coming out of bottles. I wouldn't be able to see that unless I disassembled the plastic case of this CISS which wasn't easy (a knife and a lot if gentle prying). Once I had the black case off I could work on the clogs and make it work.
Although I had to go through this trouble I still think that this is a great CISS and after using it for 5 months worry free I appreciate the saving that I got from this system.
The only upgrade that I would wish for it is the automatic cartridge reset instead of doing it manually (every time the printer thinks ink should be replaced, I have to take out all of the cartridges and shorten the one that was low, and if I would do others at the same time that wouldn't reset them, because it works only if printer complains that cartridge must be replaced.
Later I will add a video to show how I installed it and how took the case off.

I was very skeptical, but I was going through ink cartridges like IV solution on a dehydrated patient. It seemed like every day, I needed another cartridge. Even though I kept extra cartridges on hand, and purchased ahead, it was expensive. I was taking a chance that this would be a good decision. It wasn't a good decision, it was a GREAT decision. It's been at three months, and we decided to check to see if it needed any refills: No, we've only used about ten percent of the ink. (That tells you how little ink is in an actual in cartridge )
I was pleasantly surprised at how well it works, it requires no maintenance, been completely reliable, and has saved me considerable cash!
I use my printer for business and school and it's been fantastic! I no longer sweat about reprintsbecause the ink in affordable.
It prints well. It does require a little ingenuity to install it, but my husband is detailed/mechanically minded. It only took us about 30 minutes to have it installed and running. (We did it together, step by step.)
I am very pleased with the product, the price and the overall experienced. Thank you!
