For years, it would irritate me every time that I had to order the recommended printer manufacturer's ink cartridges. Maybe 15 years ago, I tried, one time, using a generic cartridge, and it leaked ink inside the printer and ruined it. And that printer was less than six months old. Fortunately, the printer manufacturer agreed to cover it under warranty but asked me to swear that I would never again use anything but their cartridges.
But for the past few years, my teacher wife has been printing an awful lot, and again, I began feeling irritated about using so much expensive ink. Since our printer surely is nearing the end of its useful life, I decided to explore the idea of generic ink cartridges. My brother told me that he had used these cartridges from Sophia Global for several years and had never had any problems, so I decided it would be worth it to take a chance. We'd probably need to replace the printer anyway due to age.
Well, we now have been through three or four sets of cartridges from Sophia Global, and we absolutely have not seen any difference at all between these cartridges and those name brand ones. The only difference is in the package wrapping. Text and colors appear to be just as bright and clear as the other brand. Our printer recognizes the cartridges just as if they were the OEM.
We ordered another set recently, and it feels great to see the bottom line of cost. t seems strange to see a total cost that is a fraction of what we had been paying.

Sometimes when you open these you might get a tiny bit of leakage. I once had two documents that I had to re-do because the color bled. However most of the time, I have no problem and they are a fraction of the price of the retail Canon version. This product does a good job and will save you a fortune. I've backed up my current set of ink cartridges with these Sophia Global replacements, so the jury is still out on their performance.The shipping was very speedy. Packaging could have been better. They were shipped in a bag that was way too big. That's an opportunity for damage. However, there's no visible damage to the cartridges.
