Been using the HP02 inks for about a year and they have all been great (as expected). Just started using the HP 02XL inks this past month and am equally satisfied. Standard B&W text is crisp and the photos I print have that extra "pop" on the page. I have never used non-OEM inks and never will. I also like the fact that I can go to HP's web site and print off shipping labels to return the spent cartridges back to HP for "free".

This xl ink is great! I have purchased these cartridges before and they really do last. The price on amazon you can not beat it. It cost more to purchase the regular cartridges in the store and they do not last. I will keep purchasing these from amazon!!!

couldn't be more pleased at the money i just saved i used to go to Staples to buy this and it's like half price here! They really get you with the inks b/c they never tell you HOW MUCH is in them. Some have very little in themthey try to trick you to tell you by saying how many pages you'll print with itbut do they tell you HOW MUCH FRICKIN INK IS IN THE CONTAINER?NO! Go to best buy, or office max and see for yourself! But, this is a great buy and it is genuine ink. Don't get teh cheap stuffit isn't the same in my opinion.

These are the ink cartridges that fit into my printer. They work as intended. I'm not going to really comment on whether or not they are a good series of inks or if the printer goes through the inks too fast. If you have this printer, you need these inks, plain and simple. If you don't like how fast they go out or the quality, your only real choice is to change printers or printer brand.

My comments are going to discuss purchasing from Amazon. Amazon no longer sells the HP 02 series of inks which means Secondary Amazon Merchants can basically charge whatever they want and prices will vary widely. The XL size cartridges are usually a great value as opposed to purchasing the normal size cartridges (just don't pay more than 1.5 times the current normal size cartridge price). The important thing is to shop around between Amazon Merchants to make sure you are getting a good price (including shipping), or keep it on your wish list to keep an eye out for price drops. Read Amazon Merchant reviews to make sure you are working with a reputable company. If you don't get a new set of ink in retail packaging as the description states with a reasonable expiration date, contact the merchant or Amazon right away. Amazon has always been helpful in these situations. As I said before, if you need this ink, make sure to check on the merchant you are buying from.
