I gambled on this, after reading horror stories of there not being any way to work around Dell's shackles and chains that imprison you to only buying over-priced ink from them. I was nicely surprised, although the instructions kind of scared me (scrape what off of the computer chip where?) the printer happily accepted the ink cartridge. I printed a test page and of course there was some missing stuff, but my printer has been sitting unused for a couple months. I cleaned the print head and turned the print quality up to "Normal" and everything prints fine. I usually print in "draft" to save ink, but it still doesn't print everything after cleaning and printing 7-8 pages on "Normal" quality. Not a big deal, at this low price and ease of use, I'll happily come back for more when I run out. Oh and this is just for the black ink, not out of color yet, so haven't tried it.

I liked the price and this item is as descried. I just ran out of ink too quickly...but it's an ok item.

I took a chance with the low price but the color printing was marginal and the black ink didn't work at all. Going back to the Dell brand ink.

These ink cartridges arrived as expected and have worked well. The price was fantastic and performance is good. We will purchase more when we need them again.
