This is an original cartridge for the Brother MFC 665 all in one printer, which is the only printer I have found with an answering machine. Printer,copyer, scanner, fax,answering machine , phone. I have found its always best to buy OEM print cartridges as I have had trouble with knock offs before. This 2 pack black is good to buy because you always go through more black ink than color, and the 2 pack is a little cheaper.

Genuine Brother ink cartridges, although a bit pricier than refilled generic brands will always be the safe bet for your expensive printer. I personally threw 2 great printers in the trash caused by faulty inferior off brand refilled ink carts. They seem to clog the superfine passages of the print head and cause smears that lead to total clogging eventually. at least in my 2 cases. With Amazons great prices on OEM, why not get the best and not worry about whether or not your printer will clog and fail when you need it most
