The colors are great and a great value. The black cartridge I received does not work in my Brother MFC-490CM. I suspect it has something to do with size. In my printer the black brother cartridge is bigger than the colored ones, but in the package, the black was the same size as all the other colors. The cartridge snaps in, and the printer gets ready, but it does not draw any ink from it.

The black ink worked for my printer but two of the colors are not being recognized by the printer. Just like another customer describes.

I've had to replace all the ink cartridges tried one at a time but after the first changes (black & yellow) the rest were hungry too :)

Is OK all the cartridges worked fine. Good color & the printer had no problems with them.
