It is just an ink set for a high quality printer. I will keep it as a spare. However, it is overpriced somehow. It costs $335 for a $899 printer. I am not sure if this is the case for other printer inks.

The ones with the printer would last very long. But these are perfect. No trouble inserting them. Easy! I got whole set.

As with all printer inks, the prices are absurd, but do you trust those "compatible" inks?

About 5 years ago I had a different Canon printer and tried some of those "compatible" inks. They printed fairly nice images but shortly after I started using them the printer stuffed up big time! Fortunately it was still under warranty and the people who repaired/replaced the stuffed print-heads didn't mention to Canon I'd used different inks, so I got off cheap. Maybe some of those cheaper cartridges are OK but I'm not a gambler and the nearest repair shop is 50 miles away.
