I bought other aftermarket brands, NOT that good... THIS ONE is very good quality. It prints very good, colors are good doesn't seem to run pout fast like others.

Cartridge was not delivered in "Retail Packaging". Product description clearly indicates that product includes "Retail Packaging". The illustration shown for the product clearly shows "retail packaging"... meaning the box that the cartridge is sold in. Without the box, it is not possible to determine the expiration date of the cartridge. I have had much grief with Brother printers not accepting old, expired cartridges. This may not seem like a big deal, but it becomes a big deal when you are in the middle of a print job, you run out of ink, and your only remaining replacement cartridge will not work in the Brother printer. I ordered three different cartridge colors at the same time, and received all cartridges in the same shipment. The Cyan and Yellow cartridges were delivered in boxes, as advertised. The Magenta cartridges were delivered without boxes. I note that the Magenta cartridges were sold buy "Andrew's Genuine Supplies", whereas the other cartridges were sold by Amazon. At the very least, Amazon product descriptions should be corrected to clearly indicate that product IS NOT delivered in Retail Packaging, and illustrations should show the cartridge only, without the retail packaging.

buying ink in this type of cartridge, you're bound to get screwed on 25% of the ink. w/the cartridge gauze being at the top, you basically have to have a full cartridge to get the correct color. i only bought ink from amazon & it's not the same. either the printer itself is the problem or it's the ink. the colors looked correct but the printer is horrible. countless ink checks & tests, it's constantly running lines through each letter. also, the cartridge is a bit different than the original. it almost doesn't look like it's going to fit. i guess you get what you pay for. like the guy at best buy said, don't buy refills.

Easy to use, love individual cartridges on the Brother MFC-490CW. No problems changing them at all, easy out and easy in. Good print value, mostly use draft mode unless we need better quality to extend the life of the cartridge and save a few bucks

The ink cartridges were very messy when opening and I had ink all over my hands. They were OK once placed into the printer, although they seem quite wet. I'm not sure how much ink I actually lost in the packaging, but the printing seems OK.

The toner successfully replaced my old empty toner for the C5800. The handle on the side looks different from the original cartridges I had, but it installed successfully and the printer recognizes it. I will follow up if there is anything wrong with the print quality of the black ink but otherwise you can assume it's a good product.

After looking at 3rd party cartridges I ended up getting the official Brother unit again. This because of various other reviews indicating leakage, failure to work with machine, etc. I was hesitant to get another official Brother cartridge because the original started leaking and covered the interior with toner even though the cartridge clearly had a lot of toner left. Perhaps the original was just faulty.

So far it is quite good. Installed w/o issue and is producing clean, clear, dark prints. In any case, time will tell whether the official cartridge replacement is better than the less expensive 3rd party units.

I purchased a set of replacement cartridges and waited a few months until they needed to be replaced. When I put them all in, every one was recognized except magenta. So, since it was 5 months since I ordered the cartridges, I had to purchase an additional magenta. Printer recognized it fine this time. These cartridges are far less expensive and the quality is very good. Highly recommend. Order as needed though, just in case one is not recognized.

We bought a bunch of these when we bought out Fargo printer, they work perfectly, but it turns out they have a shelf life, so after a year we put a refill in and it didn't work-the card out come out without any color, the ribbon just wasn't sticking to it. I then noticed the expiry date had passed, and after ordering a new fresh one, the printer worked fine again.

So, keep your stocks low, and check the date on the ones that arrive.

I have been using the bottles like the ones pictured with easy refill spouts and no issues with spillswhen refilling. I can not say that about the syringes refill. That is a messy job with spills and stains all over.

Review of E-Z Ink Remanufactured Ink Cartridge Replacement for New Generation

I had high hopes with this order, since the ink is significantly cheaper than HP's (using Photosmart b209 printer, 564 cartridges). I was willing to do without a low ink warning to save 75%. However, the first cartridge was unusable, because the locking tab was half broken off right out of the package, therefore would not seat, therefore computer would not recognize it, it finally broke off (the locking tabs on these cartridges appear to be flimsier than in the picture). The second cartridge went in with no problem, and seems to be performing well, after printing a test page, several labels, and a mix of bw and color pages. The loading instructions are very complete, I followed them closely, and had no ink spillage. If I can return this to Amazon and get replacement, and good performance continues, I will revise my rating accordingly. Haven't tried color yet, very hopeful for that and resolving this problem, because this is an answer to high ink costs, if reliability is good.

Update 6/25/13: Amazon, and I presume the manufacturer, stood behind the product (black ink) and gave me a refund, and the replacement cartridge is giving me superior long lasting performance, so I have upgraded my rating from 2 to 5. (I also like the color, see my review.)

I have an HP 5514 all-in-one printer. I read some negative reviews about the remanufactured products that your company sells. I ordered two of the black cartridges because the price was very good. I installed the cartridge two days ago. I read one of your customers complaints saying how the ink spilled all over him when he opened the tab. That was good information. However, the instructions included were very specific and if you follow them, no mess. It installed flawlwssly and works as good as the OEM. However you don't get a level reading on this one , but I can see it is filled to the top. I recommend this product as a good value.

Bought these ink cartridges for my HP Deskjet 3520 since they were a good deal and I needed some replacements. Be careful as the ink does spill easy from the cartridge when installing. Also, make sure to remove the entirety of the orange sticker on the top or you will get an error. Aside from those small issues it works great and is in fact recognized as part of the HP Rewards program.

I have a love-hate relationship with my HP Photosmart Premium (C309A) printer. The printer and all of its functions are fine. However, the HP 564XL ink cartridge prices are ridiculous and they don't last as long as I think they should. I have come close to ditching this thing several times. As a last resort, I tried the E-Z Ink re-manufactured cartridges. What a find!! The quality is great and I can't tell the difference between these and the HP cartridges. This is the third time I've purchased these and am very happy. No issues whatsoever.

This cartridge worked for a short time in my printer and then just stopped. It was a total panic moment for me because I thought my printer had died. After some troubleshooting I determined that it was a defective cartridge. When I bought a new one at the office supply store the printer worked like new again. Cartridge will not print in any color.

Even the old cartridge I was hoping to replace can still manage a smudge here and there, but this cartridge hasn't made a single mark.

Whoever "refurbished" this cartridge must have washed and risned it a couple of times, and being so pleased with their work, neglected to put any ink in.

Vendor (OC Products; OCInkjet.com) has not responded to email.

Two days ago I received four [4] "LD © LD Remanufactured Replacement Ink Cartridge for Hewlett Packard (HP 564XL) High-Yield" cartridges. 2 Black, 1 Magenta, & 1 Cyan.

So far I very happy with them. No Spills or other installation problems, plus the 'chip' seems to be working well. Cost is considerably less than my local 'Cartridge World' store. I've also been a long time Carrot Ink Customer but has switched due to some issues with them over the years. . . chips not giving reliable ink levels and on occasion the wrong ink color in the cartridge.

When I bought my printer, it came with all cartridges filled with a small amount of ink. HP sells their printers cheaper this way and makes their money on the ink. In my case the printer was much cheaper than the ink cartridges. It is not unusual to buy a printer for $60.00 use it for around a week and run out of ink and pay $125.00 for new ink cartridges. Amazon has made it profitable to order refilled cartridges for less than half what the printer cost. This cartridge has the ink level diodes in them. They are as good as the new cartridges offered by HP and only a third as expensive.
